Anyone know how much it usually cost you to have a chiropodist smooth out a couple of tiny flaky spots on the bottom of your foot? Nothing major, just small patches. Thanks!

Chiropodists around my area charge $35-$45 for a quick session. No hidden charges. But if it's your first visit, do expect it to be a little more.

Does insurance typically cover visits to a chiropodist, and if so, would it also cover the higher cost of the initial appointment?

For something minor like that, most chiropodists will charge around $50 to $80, depending on the clinic and location, if it's just routine skin smoothing, it might even fall under a basic foot care visit

Thanks for the info, that sounds reasonable. Do you know if that price usually includes any follow up visits, or is it just a one time charge?
