My sister just graduated and opened her chiropractic practice a couple of months back. So far, she's been working with self-pay clients, but now she's looking to start accepting insurance. To be honest, neither of us really knows how the credentialing process works for chiropractors.

Can anyone explain how to get registered with insurance companies for billing? Is there a standard process, or does it differ from one insurer to another? I'm also wondering how long it typically takes and if it's a good idea to hire a service to manage the paperwork. Any tips or experiences would be really appreciated

yes! Hiring a service is can definitely be a lifesaver. They specialize in this exact headache.
They know the ins and outs of each payer, what documents are needed, and how to chase down applications.
It frees up your sister (and you!) to focus on treating patients and actually running the business, instead of spending hours on hold or filling out endless forms.
While it's an added expense upfront, it can pay for itself quickly by getting her in network faster.
