I've been suffering from symphisis pubis dysfunction and I think it's getting worse now that I've entered the second trimester of my first pregnancy. I was told seeing a chiro could help but I'm honestly a bit hesitant. Has anyone here who got a chiro treatment while they're pregnant? I'd love to hear about your experience and if you have recommendations in the bay area. How many sessions should I get and how much would it cost?

I had SPD too and saw a prenatal chiro in the Bay, it helped a lot and took about 4 sessions to feel relief..but it cost me around $80 per visit without insurance

Most start with 6-12 sessions over a few weeks, costing around $35-$250 per visit. Just check with your doctor first to be sure it's right for you. Btw, who told you to see a chiro?

If you try chiropractic, look for someone trained in prenatal care, In the Bay Area, clinics like OakBay chiropractic offer sessions around $50 to $100. Usually, weekly or biweekly visits work best
