I've been dealing with back pain for roughly a year. The muscles on both sides of my spine are always tight, and when I press on my spine, it feels bruised. The pain gets worse during stressful times at work.

I'm thinking about visiting a chiropractor, but I'd like some advice beforehand. Do you think chiropractic care would help, or would a few sessions of massage do the trick?

I appreciate any thoughts you have!

Seems like massage might be a good first step for some quick relief. But if the pain is still there, a visit with a chiropractor would also be good to check your spinal alignment.

It could be helpful to try a few sessions of massage therapy and chiro to see what gives you the most relief.

It really comes down to personal preference. You could call a few clinics to get info and see what feels right for you. Some locations have both a chiropractor and an osteopath. Some people lean toward one over the other, so it's worth exploring what suits you best.
